Learning Hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.) Opportunities (September-May)

Toddler Crossing - 2 yr. olds & 3 yr. olds
Your child's first experience in growing spiritually along with other toddlers.  This learning environment with Bible stories, music, crafts and snack is tailored to the needs of active toddlers.  Parents are encouraged to attend with young toddlers.  Meets in Room 203 (Nursery).

Bus Stop - 4 yr. olds, 5 yr. olds, and Kindergarten
Bible story events,games, crafts, and snacks are all part of the Sunday morning experience for this age group.  Children will be actively involved in learning and growing in faith.  Each activity, including sanck is designed to review and help apply the Bible event to the child's life.  Children will also visit with Albie, Judy, and Budda through fun and silly puppet presentations each week.  Meets in Room 225.

                    Road Work, Next 1-4 Miles -1st-4th Grade
Children in "Road Work" will begin their Sunday morning in Room 231.  Students will prepare and eat a snack that will highlight that day's Bible Event.  After snack, they will move to the new "Under Construction" Ministry Room (Room 227) for the Bible Event. Each week they will also enjoy a craft or a game which will reinforce what they have learned.  Students will wrap up the learning time with small group.  Each of the morning's activities includes time for questions, discussion, and application.  We will close with a short time of worship. 

Crosswalk - 5th & 6th Grade
Preteens are a unique age group.  It is one of the largest transition times in a young person's life and we want to make the most of that transition time.  To do that we have a ministry just for Preteens called Crosswalk.  Bible studies and activities will be geared to their specific needs.  But they will also have exposure to the Solid Rock Youth Ministry on Sunday and Wednesdays and for some events.  We want to help them to build relationships with the group they will soon join and get a taste of what is to come for them.  Meets in Room 229.

Children's Church - 11:00 a.m. Non-Communion Services  (September-May)
Children's Church (4 years - 2nd grade) is offered during 11:00 a.m. service on non-communion (2nd & 4th) Sundays during the school year.  Children exit the Sanctuary just prior to the sermon.  At Children's Church your child will learn about Worship, the Church Year, Prayer and listen to God's true stories from the Bible.
