![]() Parents are chiefly responsible before God for the education of their children. St. Mark Lutheran School and Preschool is here to help as you embrace the joys and challenges of the most important job you’ll ever have.
Many of our families take advantage of the chance to get involved in volunteer activities that support our school, invariably finding them to be a blessing. If leading or assisting in a school activity doesn't suit you, parents are invited to volunteer in the classroom, supervise lunch and/or recess duty, drive on field trips, teach elective courses to middle school students, or help in the office.
The best way for our parents to meet other families and get involved in our school is to join our Parent Teacher League – it sponsors various fund-raisers and fun times throughout the year, including an auction and book fairs. Opportunities abound – you’re sure to find something that fits into your schedule and taps into your God-given talents.
When it comes to our attitude toward parental involvement, here’s the bottom line: We couldn’t do it without you.
“Bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4
